Two leading educational consulting groups are conducting a survey, Americas
Digital Schools 2006, to gather information about current and future plans
for ubiquitous, "one-to-one" computing programs. Researchers hope
the findings will help guide policy makers and school leaders as they plan

Annual Michigan Handheld Computers in Education Conference on November
4, 2005, at the Ottawa Area ISD in Holland, MI, with preconference workshops
on November 3rd. The conference starts with an opening keynote by educational
handheld expert, Tony Vincent, followed by 30 different breakout sessions.
The November 3rd Preconference Workshops will provide time for in-depth work
on specific handheld topics. Elliot Soloway will be the preconference luncheon
keynote. Join educators from across the country and learn how Palm and Pocket
PCs are being used to improve teaching and learning.
