The Michigan Gates Project, LEADing the Future, funded
by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, provides leadership development
for 4000 superintendents and principals in Michigan focusing on systems
change and technology integration.
An integral component of the LEADing the Future initiative is the GoLEAD
Channel, an information resource created by GoKnow for principals and
superintendents that is accessed through Palm OS® computers. Ongoing support
for the Channel is provided by GoKnow, which selects and reformats for the
Palm screen relevant articles and information sources to provide K-12
administrators with the news they need to make more informed decisions
throughout their day.
